The concepts featured herein were developed by Jurgen Scharkosi, and are based on his experience of a number of successful restaurants for cruise ships and international hotels. Much consideration is given on work place efficiency, customer flow and turnover. Trendy and cost effective menus are created by talented chefs and supported by a first class supply chain of quality food and beverages.
Deliopolis is contracted for design, installation and operational concepts and is also able to operate the restaurant or bar, hence assuring delivery of its full potential.

CATEGORY: Suitable for hotels, compounds and office towers with a need for a quality food service outlet. Daily changing menu components are appropriate for resident customers and repeat business. Light and healthy cuisine and snacks are in balance with authentic European, Arabic and Asian specialties.
PROFILE
La Gourmandise, best translated into the english language as "a treat", is not a restaurant brand, but a lifestyle concept. It consists of several modules, each available separately, together as one unit or in any combination.
Quality food service starts with purchasing. Deliopolis, owner of the La Gourmandise brand and food supplier to Qatar's top hotels, restaurants and retail markets, assures the continuous supply of fresh, best quality food and beverage products.
European head chefs and an international team of Arabic and Asian chefs produce authentic regional specialties. Service staff is hand picked for attitude and trained to provide efficient, friendly and discreet service.
LA GOURMANDISE PRIVATE DINING CLUB
Designed for compounds and residential towers, located best at the club house and/or poolside. Standard menu is reasonable priced and changes every three months. A specialty menu offers top range products in a higher, but competitive price range.
Meals are served at the dining club, at the pool side, delivered to the villa or room, or provided as take away. Special events include weekend brunch, bar-b-que and themed events.
LA GOURMANDISE BISTRO
Best located at a busy high street, in a business district, a city hotel or office tower. The bistro is equipped with no charge wireless, electric plugs at each table, phone chargers, as well as flat screen monitors showing news and stock market updates. Laptops can be rented at a minimum charge.
Food service offers breakfast, light luncheons, a business lunch menu, snacks, afternoon patisserie, ice cream specialties and a selective a la carte dinner menu.
LA GOURMANDISE MARKET PLACE
Suitable outlet for a city hotel, high street location or shopping mall. The market place is divided in a dining area on one side and refrigerated islands for food presentation with an open front cooking unit on the other side. The food service area includes glass fronted vitrines, displaying groceries which are offered for sale.
Food is displayed market style and uncooked. Guests pick their choice of fish, meat or vegetables and hand it to the chefs at the front cooking unit. There, the chefs prepare it fresh and the ready to eat meal is served to the table by service staff.
This set-up can also be used as a buffet and, with a few adaptations, is also suitable for cooking demonstrations.
LA GOURMANDISE DELICATESSEN SHOP
Retail outlet for standalone or integration into the bistro or market place. Also suitable for corner shop concept. Includes service counter charcuterie, cheese, patisserie, ready made salads and snacks, as well as a selection of fine groceries and beverages.
High tables and chairs are provided for onsite consumption of purchased items at the shop.
LA GOURMANDISE BAKERY
Retail outlet for standalone in residential buildings or compounds, or integration into the bistro or market place. Also suitable for corner shop concept.
Selection features European bread, bread rolls, pastries, doughnuts, muffins and savory snacks, as well as a small selection of Arabic breads.
Subject to space, the bakery also offers dairy products, pre-sliced charcutery and cheese, fruit juice and soft drinks, as well as an assortment of groceries like preserves, honey, coffee etc.
Hot and cold beverages are served on site for a small number of customers, providing the service of having a small breakfast or snack.
Bread, milk and other items are delivered to villas, rooms or offices.

PROFILE
Setting, furniture and decoration of this restaurant reflects the elegant style of yacht races. Typically located at the marina, beach or pool side, Regatta is a combination of casual elegance and upmarket dining.
FRESH FISH AND SEAFOOD
A steady and secure supply of fresh fish and seafood is imperative for this restaurant concept. Deliopolis provides around 250 types of fresh fish and seafood products which are air freighted into the country on a regular basis.
Decorative saltwater tanks are placed in the restaurant, displaying live lobsters and crabs in a natural setting and at the same time securing the fresh supply of these delicacies.
LIGHT FOOD MENU
The portions of the regular menu are held smaller than at your average American style restaurant, but larger than those in a tapas bar. The prices reflect the portions and patrons can choose to dine light or try several dishes.
THEME DINNERS AND BUFFETS
In addition to the light food menu, themed dinners and buffets are promoted on a regular basis.
