Executive Chef Friedrich (or Fritz for short) from Germany, has set the standards and introduced a popular style of Central European Cuisine and works with chefs from Asia and Arabic countries in order to offer authentic delicacies from these regions.Born in the Alps of Bavaria, near to the border of Salzburg, Austria, Fritz enjoyed his first cooking lessons from his mother, a native Austrian. Inspired by the art of cooking, he absolved an apprenticeship at the Maritim Hotel at the Black Forest and shortly thereafter joined the world’s best rated cruise line Crystal Cruises. His career took him to Sweden where he worked for Hilton, Sheraton, Scandic and finally, to the Continental Hotel in Stockholm, where he was appointed Executive Chef. He gained more experience by taking appointments as Executive Chef in South Africa and Mallorca, as well as onboard Celebrity Cruises and Seabourn Cruises.
