The chain, which recently celebrated its ninth anniversary of stores open for business in the region, has become increasingly popular amongst the Qatari population. Deliopolis acts as a major supplier of fresh fish and seafood to the Carrefour hypermarket chain located in Qatar, which is a joint venture company between the Majid Futtaim Group and Carrefour France.

The deal between Deliopolis and Carrefour not only supplies the local population with high quality fresh fish and seafood, but also acts as a catalyst for furthering international cooperation and promoting economic development. Carrefour is well known for providing quality products for reasonable prices and not only holds the reputation for being the most dynamic and fast-moving hypermarket chain in the country, but is also one of the world’s leading food distribution groups, second only to Walmart.
